I have an internal concrete wall to patch and repaint. The holes on the walls range from a few mm to 100mm in diameter.
Hi @Benk,
It's likely you'll be able to use a masonry filler product like this Polyfilla Exterior Brick and Render Masonry, but if there is more complexity to the issue, then this product may not be suitable.
Do you have any photos you can share of the patches?
How deep are the holes?
Is it likely you'll need to add a backing to prevent a filler falling through?
Let me know what you think.
Jacob
Thanks @JacobZ . I have uploaded images of the project. Thanks
Hi @Benk,
You've got two layers here: the base layer of concrete, with a thin skim coat of plaster over the top.
You can use the Polyfilla Exterior Brick and Render Masonry to fill the depressions in the concrete.
Once the masonry filler has dried, you can then use Gyprock Less Mess Topping Compound to apply a smooth layer over the top.
Once dry, you can use a sanding sponge to get everything perfectly smooth before priming and painting the patch.
Let me know what you think and if you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
