How to protect polished floorboards from a fridge?

Hi everyone

my son is movingto a new flat that has polished floorboards. The kitchen is small so he needs to place his fridge on some polished floorboards in the lounge room/ dining room. What would be the best way to protect the floor without glueing. Many thanks. Annette.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us and thanks for sharing your question about protecting polished floors.

One way to protect the polished floors is to cover them with an area rug any accidental movement or spill the rug will be the first to take the damage and not the floor. Another device you can use is the Easyroll Easy Roller Heavy Duty Appliance Mover. This allows you to move the fridge forwards and backwards if you need to clean behind the refrigerator. For the rest of the appliances, I suggest putting furniture felt pads under the feet to protect the floor.
