Hey Workshop,
I am interested in knowing how to DIY roof repair.
I have a slight sagging roof and bended the beam and rafters.
The whole roof structure is built on the purlin system that numerous rafters rest on a 70x90mm beam. This 70x90mm beam is supported by a few 70x90mm woodwork tied into either beam or load bearing wall.
Due to the storm, the tree branch fell on my roof which causes the roof sag and shift.
That 70x90mm beam supported by a few 70x90 woodwork is shifted and sagged. And there are two rafters also bended.
An immediate rectification is needed.
