I can’t remove to two round screw covers of the front entrance door set, any suggestions
Hello @mark86
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your door handles cover caps.
It's possible that the cover caps are pushed in very deeply. I suggest wearing some gloves and using a knife with a sharp pointy edge like a steak knife and picking at the edge of the cover cap. Slowly go around the cover cap trying to lift it up. Once you make progress you should be able to totally remove it. Once you have the cover cap off you can then get access to the screws of the door handle.
Let me call on our experienced members @Dave-1 and @AlanM52 for their recommendations.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Afternoon @mark86
They really do look like the old screw type covers that were used over the plate of a powerpoint, just shiny ![]()
I would use a stanley blade tho as @EricL mentions a steak knife would also work) I would NOT use one of those snap style box cutter blades tho.
Gently lever the edge of the round pin and work your way around it, levering as you go, sometimes one side then the other works well.
You may damage the cover of the pin with the sharp blade so go slow if you want to reuse the cover pins.

Hi mark86,
That looks like a LOCKWOOD NEXION MECHANICAL handle set.
To jog my memory I found the Installation Instructions and Template.pdf on the Lockwood website.
The screw caps are more like plugs.
Some tips:
Anytime I have to remove caps like GPO's or even the back of a watch I have two small kitchen knives in my travel tool kit.
Looks like this.
That's a kitchen knife and boss lady still not happy I broke the tip.
I found a $2 shop that had them and bought a box of 10.
The broken tip actually works better than the original pointy one.
Try using two knives similar to that and if needed squirt of RP7/CRC.
If no-go heat the screw areas with hair dryer and chill the screw cap with freeze spray and (no pun intended) pry again.
Good luck
