Hi Bunnings Community,
I’d love to hear some advice on how to repair this and if it’s a DIY job ? Open to new design if it’s easy to DIY.
Thanks in advance.
Hello @klleeau
Due to its location and its proximity to the main electrical cables to your house, I suggest engaging the services of a handy person or builder to change the damaged pieces of your gable wall end. They will have the proper safety equipment to work at height to repair your gable wall. It's probable that they will use an H3 treated timber pine pieces to replace the damaged ones.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Hi Eric,
Thanks for the suggestion. Will consider hiring a handy man. To understand the complexity of the job, do you think the replacement pines are nail or glue to the panel ?
It's likely that the timber pine pieces are glued and nailed to the surface of the panel. The purpose of the nails is to hold the timber pine pieces in place until the glue cures. Once the adhesive cures it will take on the duty of holding it in place.
