How to replace tool box latch?

Hello I was wondering if you can get new latch's or jerry rig something for these types of tool boxes in the link. Now my tool box is not a tactix it is a supercraft which you get from mitre 10 but that shouldn't make a difference.

I am not familiar with the other tool box you mentioned, but you might be able to modify a Goliath Steel Over Centre Fastener With Catch Plate as a replacement latch for your tool box. The Goliath catch plates come in several models, so please choose carefully.
