How to seal gap around exhaust pipe?

I seem to have some unwelcome visitors 🪳 come up through the gap around a vent pipe in my broom cupboard. (The pipe is connected to my kitchen range hood and the ones of the apartments below)

What can I best use to seal the gap?

Re: Sealing gap around exhaust pipe

Hello @Sassa

Before you seal the gap, I suggest spraying the area with Hovex 350g Ant Spider Cockroach Barrier Spray. I recommend using Parfix 340g Expanding Foam Filler to fill all the gaps. Make sure to push the spray straw as deep as possible into the hole before you fill the gap. Please remember that the foam will expand to more than three times its original size so please be aware of the amount that you are using.

Excess foam can be trimmed off using a craft knife once the foam has fully cured. It can be sanded down and painted over if you wish to match the colour of your walls.

If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Eric
