Hi Brain trust,
we are planning to install floor plank (https://www.bunnings.com.au/senso-914-x-152-x-2mm-2-20m-ceruse-blanc-urban-self-adhesive-vinyl-planks-16-pack_p6600056)
but we are figuring out what type of multitool blade to use and how exactly we can trim the skirting board properly like this : https://youtube.com/shorts/qIksbJVJ7KU?si=uMBkmanfYoLq5a9s
We have a multitool bought last month, not sure if the blade is suitable for this purpose though

Many thanks for any advice
Hello @ivanptr
I suggest bringing your multitool and one of the cutting blades to the store and having a look at the Kango 64mm Plunge Cut Bi-Metal Multi Tool Blade for comparison. This blade has a similar locking system to the Ryobi Multitool.
However, because the vinyl planks are only 2mm thick do you really want to cut the skirting board? Is it not possible to just place the vinyl plank in front of the skirting board?
If you need further assistance, please let me know.
Eric
Hello @ivanptr how many rooms are we talking about just one?Why not remove the skirting boards and re-install after your new flooring has been installed... that'd be far less work overall surely?
