How to use the Ryobi door lock installer?

Hi - I am replacing locks as well as installing new replacement doors around the house.

in store I was told to buy this as it’s relatively straight forward and plenty of videos on line.

however the QR code links to ryobi website on the packet which is just instructions, not a video. The instructions are very very poor (just shows what the items are) . All the videos online , mostly American, are actually a different type of ryobi tool - if you search yourself they are a bigger one that wraps around the door - this Australian one is much skinnier

can you please find the instructional videos on how to use them or I guess I’ll have to take back as I was rather missold !

I've had a thorough look and could not locate a video guide for this particular door guide installer. If you wish to exchange it for the larger Ryobi Wood And Metal Door Lock Kit RDLK2, please bring the door lock guide along with your docket back to the store where you purchased it from and ask for a credit or an exchange. There are many more guides online for the larger Ryobi door guide which is the RDLK2.

I also suggest having a look at the Door Lock Installation Service at the store should you wish to have it professionally installed. You can organize the service at the special orders desk at your local store.
