Introduce yourself to the community

Welcome to your Workshop. It is great to have you as a member of the community. We encourage you to say hello and introduce yourself.

Please reply to this post and tell us a bit about yourself. Whatever information you feel comfortable sharing is fine.

You might like to tell us about your current D.I.Y. and garden projects, your work, your passions, your hobbies, your dreams, what you struggle with, what you hope to learn from this community, and/or your favourite ice cream flavour.

And for something truly revealing about yourself - tell us what you call a barbecued sausage served on a single piece of bread.

We look forward to your post and getting to know you. Thanks for joining the discussion.

Re: Introduce yourself to the community

Hello community,

I’m Rob, I’ve always got plenty of projects on the go. I have just finished building my own house about a year ago. My current project is rebuilding a she shed for my wife as hers was damaged in cyclone Alfred.

i am also starting a pedal car build with my 11 year old grandson as a way to teach him how to use the tools required for the build

Re: Introduce yourself to the community

Hi Rob @rseletto,

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is wonderful to have you join us.

It sounds like you have already tackled some impressive projects, and finishing your own home is a massive achievement. I am sorry to hear your wife’s shed was damaged in Cyclone Alfred, but it sounds like you have a thoughtful plan underway to bring it back even better than before.

Your pedal car project with your grandson sounds wonderful. Teaching young ones how to use tools safely and confidently is such a valuable gift, and it creates memories they will carry for life. I am sure he will love every part of the build.

I very much look forward to seeing some of your projects in the future.

Jacob
