I am going to buy an attic ladder as sold at Bunnings

I will probably buy the Rhino model.
Has any member had experience with installing these?
It seems fairly straightforward ; cut the appropriate oblong hole in the ceiling between joists then make sure there is a cross piece between the joists at each end of the hole. Get a mate to help lift into place then screw to the joists by three large screw each side.
Is it much more complicated than that? I would appreciate any advice.
