Workshop community update #83

Since making his first Workshop post less than a month ago, @Peggers has shot to the top of the community leaderboard thanks to a series of fantastic caravan renovation posts, pallet wood projects and other D.I.Y. creations.

Rob’s posts also encouraged new members @justintilson and @deborah to share details of their caravan renovations and ask for a hand.

Congratulations Rob! It’s been great to have you sharing your projects on Workshop and we look forward to seeing more of your work in future.

Workshop regular @kel has also impressed the community in recent weeks with her creativity using her new scroll saw. Make sure you check out the Gallery and admire her work, including a gorgeous wooden bowl.

Other very popular projects shared on the gallery included a raised garden bed and dog feeding station by @WoodenGregsWood.

Experienced contributor @bergs has been posting details of his flourishing garden, and members have joined in by sharing their fruit and vegetable harvests. He also solved the mystery of what was causing holes in his garden

@Ben's diary of a back lawn makeover has already notched up over 4000 views, and won plenty of admirers for a dramatic transformation

Workshop favourite @Wayne returned after an absence to impress with a new cordless drill storage station and a clever storage system for storing sandpaper rolls

@Abby is receiving help from the community after posting that she was concerned about future moisture issues after removing an old door and window

@ProjectPete is getting ready to build his new home, and asked for some help with a stone benchtop, sanding walls and tile purchases

@Maddogmick54 got advice on removing rust from cast iron garden furniture and cutting wine barrels for garden planters, while members also shared their tips for protecting other outdoor furniture from the elements

New member @cogs1948 is still looking for advice about fixing an aluminium gate post to a house wall

@Super_D shared photos of a beach wheelchair he made during a 72-hour make-a-thon

@Flo54 got advice about watering lithops

@BradAU posted a photo of his attractive plywood succulent planter

@Hacko asked how best to remove barbecue grease stains from Ekodeck boards

@Stuardo shared a fantastic retro ice box he made for summer entertaining

@Beachbox also impressed with a corner television unit made from recycled timber.
