Our front screen door needed some serious attention and it was time to make it happen.

I removed the screen door, took the old screen off, cleaned it thoroughly and painted it with a dark grey paint. I then put on the new screen and rehung the door.

It now looks brand new.

Re: Screen Door Refurbishing

Hello @deano1966

Thank you very much for sharing your screen door refurbishing project. That dark grey paint you used has really given it a brand-new look. Did you have to sand down the entire door surface? Was the foam spline easier to use than a rubber spline?

Again, thank you for sharing an excellent refurbishing project.

Eric
