Shou sugi ban wood finishes

Hi,

i recently asked about finishes for my projects especially shou sugi ban. Burning / Charing of the wood.

I received some amazing advise and i am pretty happy with the out come.

I have used a mix of bondall walnut stain and varnish and feast watson wipe on poly on the bench seat. Interbuild Clear Hardwax oil on the kids bench seat.

I have fallen in LOVE with the wipe on poly (polyurethane) and finished most of my projects with it.

If you had time I'm sure many would like to hear about the wood-burning process and some photos of it would be excellent too if you had any..
