@andipleasance

Just came across you post. I have seen these tiny homes being built on the TV show 9 Life. They look fabulous but having been in a very small compact relocatable home I could never go back to lack of room but as a B&B they look like a fabulous idea.

Do you have finished pics and roughly how much do you charge to make them?

Cheers,

Barbara

Re: Tiny homes builder - wooden frame version

Hi the bnb model is $78k ad the 7.2 ultimate adventure model is an apartment on wheels at $140k as the cost of building materials is now going up unfortunately

What a great job and the pics show a surprisingly spacious home so well done with the layout.

I'm sure other workshop members will appreciate the aditional pics you have provided so they can see the finished product.

We built our home back in 2007 and finished it in 2018 and did the entire build ourselves except for the things we weren't permitted to do and we often settled for purchasing unused items on ebay like taps, spa etc...and for furniture for example we filled the entire home with good quality second hand stuff, so that reduced costs considerably.

We built a four bedroom single storey home, approx 35 squares to memory, 360* concrete veranda, 70 mtrs right around the home and with an indoor pool with limestone cladding for approx $250,000 including a carport and excluding building costs having done it all ourselves and we found out one time talking to a neighbour who was a stone mason that laying our limestone blocks would have cost us about $60 a block and that equates to about $70,000 that would have been an extra cost on top of the $250,000 had we not done it ourselves, so I can imagine you would be struggling to keep costs down even doing it yourself but well done, the tiny homes you have built look fabulous.

I'm sure the community will enjoy the pics you've attached.

Cheers,
Barbara
