Hello all, I have installed hybrid flooring in my house and I am having trouble finding a trim to go over where the hybrid floor meets the tiles as the tiles are 15mm higher than the floating floor. Any tips would be great
Hi @sbm,
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, we're glad to have you with us.
To account for varying floor heights, you can use a ramp transition trim such as this Bronze Transition Ramp Trim or this Silver Transition Ramp Trim.
They are secured in place using Roberts Ramp And Cover Trim Plugs which are installed by predrilling a hole and tapping them into the hole.
Once the plugs are in place, the channel on the underside of the transition trim is slipped over the top to fix it in place without any visible fixings.
Let me know what you think and if you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
