What type of nails can I use for weatherboard cladding when hand nailing it. I am only finding the type of nails to use when using a nail gun.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Lisa43. It's splendid to have you join us and many thanks for your question on attaching weatherboard.
Would you be able to share a link to the exact product you’re using? If it’s one of ours, we’d be more than happy to contact the manufacturer directly to confirm what the best fixing method is for hand-nailing.
As a general guide, for a 22mm thick H3 treated pine weatherboard, you’d normally be looking at hot-dipped galvanised nails. Something like a 65mm bullet head nail would work. That's long enough to get a good purchase into the studs behind the cladding while not being excessive.
That said, if you’re putting up more than just a repair piece or two, I’d strongly encourage you to consider other options. Hand-nailing a whole wall of cladding is extremely hard going, particularly if you’ve got older, denser framing timber to fix into. A framing nail gun makes the job vastly quicker and easier, and hiring one for the day is usually quite budget-friendly. The other alternative would be to use a drill driver with galvanised or stainless steel screws, and then fill over the heads. This also makes it easier if you ever need to replace a board later on.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Mitchell
Yes, it is one of Bunnings products. I/N 0053651. Its not a large wall, and it has a new frame built using structural pine. With the research I have done, it was advised to use annular groove nails 50mm x 3.15, but I cant seem to find anything with this name on it in the nail section at Bunnings. I was also looking at using screws.
Hi @Lisa43,
Annular groove nails are typically something fired out of a nail gun. They are often referred to as ring shank nails.
