What tools for restoring windows and deck?

Hi

Im thinking to do my window frames restoration and back deck. And looking to buy orbital and a detail sander.

Should I buy detail and orbital sander separately, or  there's a 3 in 1 ozito sander- Ozito 200W Multi Sander Kit.

and should ozito brand sanders wipp do the job or should I buy ryobi.

Thanks

Re: What tools for restoring windows and deck?

Hi @hazz,

The Ozito tools are more than capable of tackling your window frame restoration, and the Ozito 200W Multi Sander Kit is a solid choice. It gives you the flexibility of different sanding pads, so you can cover both flat surfaces and tighter corners or profiles. That makes it really handy for detailed trim work around windows and even for getting into the edges of your deck. If you think you’ll be using a sander a lot in the future, stepping up to a Ryobi might be worth it for the extra durability and comfort, but for a project like this the Ozito will do the job just fine.

One thing to keep in mind is that while the multi-sander is great for detail work, it won’t have the power to efficiently sand the broad surface of decking boards if they need a full resurface. For that kind of job, it’s much easier and faster to hire a floor sander as it’ll make short work of stripping back the deck compared to trying to cover it with a small hand sander.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Mitchell
