Pruning an Australian Native Orchid

I have an Australian Native Orchid that was given to me by the local council when I got my Australian Citizenship way back in 2004 Australian Native Orchids It's been in my ex's backyard and I discovered how neglected it was. Bio Ethanol Fireplace
Hi All I just wanted to share pics of my new Bio Ethanol fireplace that arrived yesterday. I have it situated in my lounge room as a feature and as a secondary heating source as my reverse cycle air-conditioning is at the other end of the house, in the kitchen. It doesn't produce extreme heat, but it does take the chill…

What do I feed these things?
Hi All My two blueberry bushes (or "Tributes" as I like to call them - Hunger Games fans will get that) are holding their own but now that it's spring - they apparently like to be fed. Can you suggest a type of fertilizer I would use on them? Would I go organic as I hope to be eating any berries they produce as their way…

Christmas Cactus / Zygocactus
Hi Everyone A few months ago I bought a Christmas cactus (Zygocactus) on special. I put it in a pot with some orchid mix and have watered as needed. It looks like it's getting ready to flower, as I have multiple buds appearing. Should I consider giving it some form of fertiliser before it flowers? If so what type of…
