Silly question - what do I do to this tap so that I can attach a regular outdoor hose to it?

How can I reduce the spray on this sprinkler? It’s spraying out too wide and I want a smaller/ more controlled output.

Can someone please tell me what type of grass this is?Wanting to get the correct herbicide for the lawns, or should I be using weed n feed?
