We had a very outdated bathroom with leaky pipes and blocked plumbing, the quote to fix it was a bit too much so we decided to diy most of it. We demolished it, we dug out the floor for new plumbing,in doing so we decided no more bath instead with 5 in the house, a 2nd toilet is more practical.
We hired a plumber, then we refilled the hole, a friend concreted the floor and we are now hiring a Tiler! 2 more weeks and we should be done and it's cost us less than $10,000
