Keen to hear more stories from plumbers about flexible braided hoses. It seems many are failing after 10 years. The potential damage a burst hose can cause is alarming.

That's a worry. I am going to check. I think I do have this type of pipe underneath the kitchen sink mixer.

The article mentions an expiry date printed on the collar of the hose but I can't see anything. I think they would all be over 10 years old.
