What do you do with leftover materials from your D.I.Y project?

Using leftover timber off-cuts, decking boards, pallets or any other materials for another project is a terrific idea. Not only is it great from a sustainability perspective, but it’s also a cost-effective and easy way to add character in your next project.

I’d love to see how our members have used leftover materials to build something new. To get the ball rolling, I’m tagging some members below that have creatively used remnants from another project:

• Using leftover fence pickets and the top from her original desk, Tara also built floating shelves and a new desk for her daughter’s room to match her black loft bed
  
  
• @Jamespeter100, who used leftover pieces of a pallet to create a milk cart planter.
