This stunning makeover turned a dated living room into a bright, modern space complete with hybrid flooring and Easycraft wall panelling.
The project
Every part of our coastal living room transformation was D.I.Y.
We hired a hammer on a trolley from Kennards Hire to rip up all the slate tiles.
We installed hybrid flooring from Carpet Court ourselves to save money.
We installed all the Easycraft panels from Bunnings ourselves, and my husband chased his own channel in the wall to hide the TV cables.
We installed skirting ourselves and painted everything with Monsta Makeover Absolute White.
We installed the blinds ourselves and sprayed the window frames white.
My dad (who is a sparky) removed the old ceiling fan and installed this beautiful D.I.Y. batten-fix pendant.
We still have a few things to add when the budget allows (new aircon, curtains) but for now we are stoked with this space.
We are loving our coffee table from Bunnings and Home Bazar too. Such an affordable price.
