Is it common for glass shower screens to explode like this? I had heard of glass pool fences exploding in the heat but not shower screens.
I remember there was a bit of focus on this a few years ago. I believe most problems occur from stress during handling or installation, but that it can take time for the weakness to reach breaking point.
