A study nook created in an disused wardrobe featuring a wooden bench, downlights and geometric patterns painted on the wall.

The project
I had such a wasted built-in wardrobe space as I use a large wardrobe in another room. After countless of hours Googling, I decided to create a study nook.
Purchasing a few Bunnings colour sample pots, I began a geometric painted pattern. I then added Pine wood structure around the outskirts.

Then I sat a Hevea benchtop on top that I had cut to size. Given there is no power in the wardrobe, I purchased two battery downlights for night-time use. This nook is now functional.
