I decided to make a timber toolbox for timber off cuts and salvaged kerbside timber, my intention was to use materials at hand, I had pine for the sides, marine ply for the base, IKEA bed timber ( looks like Swedish pine) for the sides, merbau timber for the handle.
I made the joins by making box joints, the base was recessed and screwed on the bottom, I did this to allow future replacement if required.
The handle was shaped by making a template and using a jigsaw to cut and router to finish.
The toolbox was oiled then waxed.
Great job as always @JoeAzza! Many thanks for sharing this project with us. I'm sure it will inspire other members. Watch out for plenty of questions about your build process.

Your craftsmanship is incredible ! This looks wonderful @JoeAzza
Box joins are next level craftsman. Great job.
Hi @tnsmith001
I also suggest having a look at this project - Coffee table with recycled hardwood top. Absolutely no screws visible.

Very nice woodworking skills there @JoeAzza I only wish I had the patience for that type of detail.
