How to retain stones on a slope?

Hi everyone,

I have installed a French Drain around the outside of the garage ( see pics ) and it works well but now I need to waterproof the joint between the concrete slab and the hardiplank wall. 
 My problem is the blue metal keeps sliding down the slope and up against the wall which I’ve been told by a tiler will be a problem with the waterproofing.

I didn’t want to remove all the soil as if is supporting the fence.

I am hoping someone can suggest a solution to retain the stones and stop them from sliding down.

Great work with the french drain, it's good to see the project progressing well.

Due to the lay of the land, you are always going to run into problems with material falling towards the shed. The only real way to completely stop this from happening is to level the ground so it is below the level of the slab.

With this being said, you could reduce the issue by installing some edging, such as this Rola Pak 200mm x 2.8m Garden Edging along the concrete so that the top of the edging sits around 50mm above the lip of the concrete.

This would certainly help stop the stones from being washed onto the concrete during a downpour.
