Wardrobe doors in a kids bedroom transformed into huge chalkboards simply using chalkboard paint.
The project
D.I.Y. chalkboard wardrobe door using Dulux Chalkboard paint.
Steps
Step 1
Clean area thoroughly with sugar soap.
Step 2
Tape in preparation for painting and begin primer if needed - depending on your surface you may not need this specific primer. Refer to paint instructions to see what is suitable for your surface.
Step 3
Apply two coats of Dulux Chalkboard paint. Follow Dulux instructions for curing. I found you may need to wait a touch longer than what is recommended to make sure it’s fully cured and won’t scratch with the chalk.
