How to hang a wall-mounted entertainment unit?

Hi,

I am a beginner handyman and planning to install an entertainment unit to the wall along with hiding the cables. I am assembled the entertainment unit. The entertainment unit came with 3 hooks that attach to the back of the unit from inside and 3 wall plates onto which these hooks sit. so far it felt easy, I started to find the studs on the wall but unfortunately the location of the studs doesn't seem to align with the hooks on the entertainment unit  i.e. the studs are either on the left or right side of the hooks. I was able to locate one stud( middle) kind of aligns to the entertainment unit hook. 

Is there a way to hook the unit to the plaster board  without the studs.

I am attaching a few pics for reference.

Note : The entertainment unit is around 25kgs and i am planning to keep a soundbar and a woofer on the top,so another 5kgs which adds upto to 30kgs.

Any suggestion or help would be much appreciated Outside of Hook which hangs to plateHook inside the Unitwall plate

Plan A

the weight of your unit needs a minimum of two wall studs ideally  positioned approximatly middle way but  my idea will allow approx. 750mm extension offset to one side at a pinch.

Firstly, discard the wall hooks provided as they will not align with wall studs gyprock will not support the weight in question.

I suggest instead a single length of Aluminium Gutter mould

It has a lower lip to hook your unit on to (just like your original wall hooks designed for. ) and the longer flat bit screws onto the wall with 3mm dia holes predrilled into the aluminium to match your wall studs by yourself. Aluminium is soft and easy to drill.

In short the Aluminium Gutter mould  will allow you to fix to the wall at least two wall studs in a secure manor irrespective of studs lining up,

All you need to do is cut with a hack saw or angle grinder the aluminium channel to fit inside the rear cabinet dimensions.

Plan B

Another stronger way but more complex way is to place a timber wall brace  of 42mm x 19mm timber for under the base of the unit to sit Apon to support a heavy unit loaded up.  Top L brackets to stud and screw them from the top of cabinate to stop unit falling forwards.
