How to build a slat wall room divider?

Please can anyone advise how to create a similar slat wall divider as seen in example photos, except we want our divider  from floor to ceiling.

The general steps are to choose the size of the timber you wish to use and build a frame which you can install the timber pieces to. The frame is then stood up and anchored to the floor and ceiling using screws.
