Hi @Noyade,
That's a fantastic price. If I didn't already have some, I would definitely jump on that.
Thank you for sharing.

G'day mate @JacobZ
They're good?
I used them to help hang heavy fire doors, which they were brilliant for.
They're certainly a handy bit of kit that you can find use for in a wide variety of situations.
I'm sure a handy guy like you would get plenty of use out of them.
Thanks @JacobZ
It was a voucher/cash purchase, so I'm very pleased.
Cheers!
Hi @Noyade and @JacobZ Well done thats a hell of a deal!Though a different brand, I have been using hand jacks for about 2yrs now after seeing the original manufacturers on a social post. After some research I got a no-name pair with 200kg rating for about $70. They had great reviews, so figured worth a crack. Mine get used regularly to hang new/replacement doors and installing Kaboodle cabinetry. And has meant I can do these jobs much easier and safer on my own.
I have no doubt the quality isn't anywhere near those Stanleys, and yours have a significant design improvement having both forward and back base feet. Mine can easily tip backwards when positioning say a door when there is a need for a high lift, where yours won't. I get around this with one on either side.
Your going to love yours @Noyade

"Well done thats a hell of a deal!"
Well, actually - no it's not. I will send you an image by PM. 😕
I'm kinda hoping this thread will now disappear and I can jump into a deep black hole.
Not at all @Noyade. I have compared both and can assure there will be a significant difference in quality mate.
Half an hour ago - this device "saved my life!" 😁
And my back.
And my knees.
Each steel door is around 60 kg. Dunno what I was thinking back when I built them.
But the jack is pure genius and works like a dream.
Cheers.
Morning @Noyade thats sensational to hear and Nice addition to the tool arsenal 💪.
By chance I only just saw those in Bunnings yesterday, and didn't realise they are at least double the size of mine. And though mine might be able to lift those doors, there would be no way they would be as stable and safe and definitely don't have the height range.
They really are fantastic tools. I'm glad to hear they kept you safe. They were definitely worth the investment.
I still struggled to get them into position - but once there, the jack was fantastic. They're 'drop-in' hinges and you simply jack slightly above what is required - then only watching the hinges, keep touching the yellow tab with your foot until it's lowered into position. 😁
