How to fill gap between paving and fence?

Hi everyone,

I’ve recently removed a garden bed and extended the paving in my courtyard to match the existing area. Because the fence line isn’t perfectly straight, I’ve ended up with a gap running alongside part of it.

I’m looking for advice on the best way to fill this gap along the edge. Also wondering whether I need to install edge restraints, pin the pavers, use cement (or another method) to properly lock everything in place. For context, the area is fully boxed in. Appreciate any guidance or suggestions

I like these Concrete Garden Edging but used back to front. So high side will be against your bricks/pavers It gives a bit of a gutter so water dosnt stay up against your fence and allows the timber to breathw hen its wet.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your pavers.

I suggest putting in a 100 x 16mm 4.8m Edging H4 Treated Pine Sawn Wet. The timber garden edging is treated to H4 which means that it can withstand direct contact with the soil. To prevent movement, I recommend using the 400mm Plinth Peg Galvanised Steel. It's 400mm length should anchor the edging securely. As for the gap in the courtyard, I recommend using terracotta coloured mortar to fill the gap.
