I see mould and some black spots in the shower area near the silicone. What can I do to fix this? Would be helpful to get detailed steps and tools please.
Hi @dcostadixson
Same issue as yours but around a window near a sink. Only the other day.
Got sick of looking at it and eventually removed it with a No.11 scalpel blade which 'flexes' with the vertical and horizontal cuts. Surgical precision.
Cleaned up the area and applied an anti-mold white silicone.
I wish I hadda taken photos, but none to show I'm sorry.
Cheers.
Thanks for that @noyade. I have added screenshot of the things you mentioned. Are these the right ones? Also, anything specific to clean it?
Hi @dcostadixson,
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
@Noyade's method of cutting out the mouldy silicone, cleaning up and then replacing it with a mould resistant silicone is exactly what I would recommend.
The products you have shown will work well, just be careful when using the scalpel and ensure you wear gloves and long protective clothing to help reduce the risk of lacerations.
Once the mouldy silicone has been removed, clean the area with Rapid Mould Killer Remover, then reseal with Selleys Mould Resistant Silicone Sealant.
Check out How To Silicone a Gap for some guidance on the application of your silicone.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

Yes @dcostadixson - as per @JacobZ's instructions. The thinner the handle - the better. I used the same silicone as above and I'm hoping it does better than the last 'anti'- mold silicone I used. But maybe no matter what you use, it will eventually succumb to mould? Dunno.
Good luck.
Cheers!
Thanks @Noyade and @JacobZ. Super helpful and appreciated the quick response.
