II'm Looking at trying to block access to my neighbours from parking in my yard going through my bin and stop them looking into my yard
I need to block this from hedge to wooden fence its a rented property
Hi @tracey hunt,
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is wonderful to have you with us.
I'm sorry to hear you are dealing with issues with your neighbours; it is understandable that you would be frustrated in this situation.
Since it’s a rental, you’ll need something that doesn’t cause permanent damage or require major installation so that it is easy enough to remove when required. I have two main ideas: large potted plants or a privacy screen utilising star pickets.
The first option is to use large potted plants to create a natural barrier. You would need to choose large, heavy pots like these https://www.bunnings.com.au/northcote-pottery-50cm-terracotta-egg-shaped-pot_p0044460 so they cannot be easily moved, and fill them with dense, fast growing plants like bamboo or lilly pilly. These should be placed tightly side by side between the hedge and the fence so there are no gaps. If you need more privacy, you can go for taller plants or slightly raise the pots to increase the height. This option looks more natural and improves the appearance of the space while still blocking access.
The second option is to install a privacy screen using star pickets, which is a more immediate and secure solution. You can drive the star pickets into the ground along the gap, spacing them about one to one and a half metres apart. Then attach shade cloth, bamboo screening, or decorative screens using cable ties or fencing wire, making sure it is pulled tight so it does not sag. You can adjust the height to fully block visibility into your yard.
You could also use a combination of these two approaches to create a physical barrier with the pickets and shade cloth or screening, then create further depth by adding plants on your side.
Allow me to tag our helpful members @Dave-1, @Nailbag and @Noyade to see if they have any ideas.
Let me know what you think and if you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Good Afternoon @tracey hunt
:/ Parking and encroaching on your space is a pain.
I do like @JacobZ's suggestions and would expand upon the star post idea.
I would use 6 of 1.8m star posts.

You could place the three sections to be equaly apart and cable tie the expandable trellis to the wire mesh. You could also switch out the expandable trellis for a timber version. I like the idea of the steel mesh to give support to the trellis.

@tracey hunt if they would respect garden edging then that could be a cheaper option
Sorry @I'm not understanding the geography @tracey hunt
Are you taking the photo on your driveway? The cars in the distance drive over their front lawn through your barricaded area and out onto your driveway - or front lawn?
"if they would respect garden edging then that could be a cheaper option"
Hi JP.
I regularly see 4WDs take a sharp right on a highway near me - cross two lanes, mount an 8" gutter, drive across a concreted pedestrian area, up a small incline and flop down another 8" kerbed area - into a McDonalds car park. Simply to avoid a traffic light. Garden edging would not 'deter the determined' I would think.

Hi @tracey hunt
I think your best solution is the one both @Dave and @JacobZ has suggested being a more substantial temp fencing. Star pickets aren't that expensive to buy, you will just need a mash hammer to knock them down with. Then you could simply use the reo-mesh if you want to save some coin or go adding the artificial wall garden for the extra privacy. All that will be more than enough to not only send a message but prevent them overparking into your property.
