I have a large concrete watertank and with a corrugated iron top. It is an eyesore and I am looking for an idea on what I could use to put around the top edge/rim to hide the edge?

Assuming the corrugated iron functions to make water run off of the top of the water tank, then the first thing to consider is that you won't want to completely block the ends of it so water can still run off.
I'm thinking something like an angle flashing or building moulding that sits over the exposed edge and is attached to the peaks of the corrugated iron, with a slight gap to the vertical leg so water can still run off.
You can make some triangular relief cuts on the horizontal leg to allow you to bend it around the radius of your water tank if necessary.
It can then be fixed to the peaks of the corrugated iron using some roofing screws.

I have to make some assumptions here, I assume the corrugated sheets are not joined together so that you can easily remove them for maintenance reasons. If so, I don't think you can use anything that connects to the sheets.

fixed around the concrete rim extending up past the sheet edges to give a clean edge. However it would need to be fitted on stand off blocks to allow a clearance for the overhang and to allow for run off. That brings us to how to fix the stand off blocks as I personally wouldn't want to be drilling and screwing into the concrete for fear of causing a crack so construction adhesive would be the way to go. I did look for plastic stand offs but the problem will be finding UV stabilized ones so wood would probably be the best bet. another option for fitting would be to get some metal bar bent to hook over the side of the concrete then out and up to give something to fix to. This has the advantage of being removable for access and can be made up in sections for ease of access. If you go the metal bar route, see how much it would cost to get it galvanised as it will greatly extend it's lifespan and prevent rust getting into the water.

How about some plastic garden edging held off the corrorgated roof by some long right angle brackets? The edging is held away from the edge to allow water/leaves ect to fall through but will hide the rough existing edge from sight.
and with this style bracket to suit.
