The project:

After years of workshop chaos, I finally got stuck in, pulled my finger out and installed a full French cleat wall system—and what a game changer. Every tool now has a home, and the whole space just works. The workshop just flows so much smoother with all my tools at my fingertips. It’s an easy DIY project using materials from Bunnings, and you can customise it to suit your particular setup. Knock it over in a couple of weekends and enjoy a workshop that actually flows. Honestly… l wish l had done this years ago! I've attached some photos and a video of the finished French Cleat Wall System for you to check out 👍😁

Another brilliant project, and a great way to keep your workshop organised so you can move straight into the next build with ease.

The display cabinet is a standout feature and was my personal favourite element. As a very average golfer, that nearest the pin trophy would definitely have pride of place in my own cabinet.

I've always debated with myself in regard to what wood to use for a French cleat system. Your project has settled it for me; it's wonderfully built and is so versatile. You can pretty much create any hanging shelf you'll need for your tools. I watched the full video; it was very informative.
