Feedback about Estilo Twin Shower Set instructions

Question

Let him/her know there are only 3 grub screws supplied with the kit - not 4 as erroneously seen in instructional diagram No.5. The lower wall fixing point has a self-tapping screw with a wide head (supplied) that is inserted from the top.

The 3 grub screws supplied anchor the nipple connection and the high rise shower arm. I would suggest to the plumber that grub screw No.1 be inserted before the rail is installed.

Just a little background. My wife's mobility is worsening and we thought a rail shower system would be good so I had a look online but saw many poor reviews which put me off - and then there was a budget. I wheeled her through Aisle 54 and against my wishes - she selected the above, knowing of the 2.5 star rating.

So reviews and ratings are not necessarily a true assessment of the product.

John is also perplexing. I have no idea how the ''plumber'' snapped that fitting. Solid brass requiring a 10mm Allen Key. Unbelievable force must have been applied.

We can certainly pass on your observations to Estilo about the inaccuracy in the instructions in regard to the grub screw as well as a recommendation to include instructions about orienting the hose correctly to avoid the issue James has mentioned in his review.

Now go to the Bunnings website and have a look at the reviews. It gets only 2.5 stars out of a possible 5. Fair enough - but scroll down and have a look at James's one star rating and the video attached.

The problem is James - you have connected the hose the wrong way round.
