I have a door stop on a hollow door that keeps coming off. was wondering if there is an opinion of an anchor ?
so I can make the door stop more secure.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your door stop.
I propose looking at using either the https://www.bunnings.com.au/tox-m6-flip-toggle-bolt_p2260713 or https://www.bunnings.com.au/ramset-1-8-x-50mm-round-head-toggle-spring-4-pack_p2265614 . Both are designed to be used in hollow wall applications. One other option is to glue a piece of pine timber using https://www.bunnings.com.au/selleys-130g-liquid-nails-fast-grab-strong-adhesive_p0615431 to the location of the door stop on the door. You then screw the door stop on the piece of pine timber and then the door.

Is there any chance for a couple of photos of the door and the doorstop plus the screws you are using? That would go a long way to help in solving your issue.

I'd just thought I'd add that the vast majority of the inside of an internal door is cardboard honeycomb filler material. This means that it's only the skin of the door that your screw bites into. If you can, relocate the stopper to the corner or along the bottom, where it will penetrate into the solid timber frame surround. I've created the rendering below to illustrate.

@MitchellMc just beat me to the punch with the right location. Essentially you need to position the stopper screw low enough and/or closest to the edge of the door where the internal solid timbers are. Otherwise your fixing into soft MDF door panelling. Nailbag

Here is a visual representation of my suggestion. As I suggested you can use https://www.bunnings.com.au/selleys-130g-liquid-nails-fast-grab-strong-adhesive_p0615431 to stick the pine panel to the door and screw it with https://www.bunnings.com.au/zenith-8g-x-30mm-countersunk-rib-head-chipboard-screws-35-pack_p2420233 . Please make sure to drill pilot holes in the timber panel to prevent splitting the corners. I propose painting the panel with https://www.bunnings.com.au/british-paints-250ml-white-sample-pot-250ml_p1420569 . You can then mount the door stop on the panel. Please drill a pilot hole for this as well.

@EricL's suggestion would certainly work and possibly be a wiser move since you have run into trouble attaching the door stop. There is generally a solid piece of timber around the edge of the door, depending on how it has been mounted and trimmed it could have had that timber shaved down to the point when you have come in from the edge you have hit the waffle board inside and it has no structural attachment for screws.
You could try mounting it lower (use the back end of a screwdriver and tap the door frame and then work upwards, you may hear the tone change) Or run a fine drill bit in and see if its solid behind where you want to mount the door stop.
BTW I have similar doorstops but I mounted them on the skirting board facing the door.
Thanks Dave I was also thinking on skirting but it is tiled. I've never bt a stop on tiles before and scared I might damage the tile.
It's relatively easy to drill into tiles if you use a tile drill bit and take you time. However, it think you could potentially move your screw location slightly to the left or down, to find the solid timber, and as per out images above. Put it right in the bottom corner as much as you can before the surround starts hanging over the edge of the door.
Just checking in to see whether you were able to get the door stop secured.
It was an interesting problem, and there were a few different solutions suggested by the community. I'd love to hear which option you ended up going with and whether it solved the issue.

I ordered some hollow door anchor from the states. Waiting for them to arrive to see if they work.

Hopefully Trump hasn't put too much tariff on them. Just a late thought. Drill through the door. Tap an internal thread on that base and feed a low rounded profile head/bolt and connect. Reinsert the arm.
But whatever - keep us informed.
