How to change shower heads?

Hi,

I'm trying to change just the shower head from the held hold one in picture.

I'm wanting one that is similar to the 2nd image large square shape. Which will connect to the hand hold hose like in photo.

Do you stock the square one or similar for me to do this?

Just wondering if this is actually doable with my current connection to wall and attachmentfor hose to sit in etc? As I'm am not looking at unscrewing anything from wall etc. As knowing my luck I will stuff it up somehow going that route.

Any help or advice appreciated and thank you in advance

If you are specifically looking for the square shower head, there are loads more but rather more expensive options at Bunnings. If you are looking for a budget option, you could possibly go for the one that Eric suggested but see if you can replace the round head with this one….

They are by the same manufacturer so there is a good chance you can and it is only $34 more.

Any chance you can share a photo or describe your current anchor style on your shower? I'm thinking unless you have the anchor mount seen in your second photo it's not going to work.

In the first photo - it looks to be a 'ball and socket' style that is based on friction working for you. I think that with the large square head, it will just gravitate to the wall.

I have the Estilo system that @EricL mentioned - its a good unit.

Please note that plumbing work needs to be completed by a licensed professional for safety and compliance.

I'm sorry but the store does not carry that type of shower head in your second picture. However, there is a shower head system that is very close to what you are after. I propose looking at the

. It has the rain head shower pattern that you are after, and it still retains the detachable mobile shower head that is so handy to use when washing the shower cubicle itself.

However, in general, any changes that involve moving or reconfiguring pipework would be considered regulated plumbing work and would need to be carried out by a licensed plumber.

A plumber would be able to check your current setup and advise on the most suitable way to connect the new shower head system safely and in line with requirements. It’s worth having a quick conversation with a plumber so you know the options available for your installation.
