How to reconfigure an aluminium sliding window?

Hi there!

I would appreciate an advice on this - which company can do this for me.

I need to re-configure the window. I am spliting the room, and the dividing wall is to be at the middle of the window (I don't want to change the external apearance of the house and this window). Obviously, without removing and replacing the window and with minimum damage to the frame.
Rather than having one horizontal sliding panel like now, I would like to have a wide (140mm) bar in the middle, and each top portion of the window to be split into a fixed and sliding panel. As shown on the sketch on the photos.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your aluminium sliding window.

In this particular instance, I suggest engaging the services of an aluminium/glazing professional in your area. They should be able to modify your existing window configuration to how you want it. The only thing I can think of suggesting is asking the trades person if the existing frame and glass can be recycled and be used for part of the window re-configuration.
