The project:

Floor to ceiling book shelf as I have a lot of books and had nowhere for them in the new house.

- Materials:

16mm melamine sheeting.

Iron on edging.

- Tools:

Ryobi tool range.

- Step 1:

Measure height and width of wall.

Trip to Bunning for all materials.

Re measure and cut.

Install.

What a fantastic use of the space. A floor-to-ceiling bookshelf is a great way to maximise storage, and it looks like you've created the perfect home for your book collection. The clean, built-in appearance really suits the room.

When I was doing my floor to ceiling bookshelves, I debated regularly whether to continue across the window. My wife was against it but in the end I was pleased with how many books I could stuff in that small area.
