my shower cap has slightly popped off and I’m curious as to whether it’s something I can pop back on or is it broken ? It has not fully come off yet
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @natmcc. It's wonderful to have you join us and many thanks for sharing your question about shower heads.
It's highly likely that the outer casing has separated because an internal component has failed. I've seen similar issues with a variety of shower heads, and in almost all of those cases, they're unfortunately not repairable.
You could certainly try gently clipping it back together or have a closer look to see whether there's a screw or retaining clip that has come loose, but I suspect you'll find there isn't a practical way to secure it again.
If that's the case, replacing the shower head will likely be the simplest and most reliable solution. Here's a helpful guide: How to change a shower head. We have a number of hand shower heads like the https://www.bunnings.com.au/estilo-chrome-abs-10-function-hand-shower_p0683968 . The most important part is finding one that will clip in securely to the mount on your rail system. If you know the brand and model of the system and if it was purchased through Bunnings, our Spare Parts team would be able to check to find out if a new handset was available.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
