The project:
After removing old decking which was very think hardwood i wanted to recycle into something as they were in great condition although very weathered with lots of character in the timber. I basically cut them to size to suit an ensuite, sanded back starting with 60 grit and finishing with 180 grit. I used a 15 degree cut on legs tops and bottom and screwed into top which was 2 boards wide that i glued and doweled together. I finished with fiddes hard wax oil. I call it my perfectly imperfect bathroom bench
