How to repair peeled surface on a white cabinet door?

Question

I accidentally pulled off a small section of the white surface when removing an adhesive hook. The particleboard underneath is exposed, but there is no dent or structural damage.

Can this small area be repaired without repainting or replacing the whole door? What product would you recommend?

I'm with all the learned gents above and I agree with @EricL's statement. Unless you replace the door. Is it the hinge side? Whatever patch method you go with - I'd like to see a finished photo. Cheers!

I think the most effective solution from past experience would be to use the filler @Dave-1 has suggested. Start with a lighter coat and use a damp cloth to wipe aways the edges. Then complete the process by repeating 24hrs later.

Mmm Its a bit of a hard one, If you still have the bit you have and you manage to get it away from the sticky surface then you could try reattaching it as @EricL has suggested. The thought that I have is once that laminate starts lifting its very hard to stop it. I would try the less is more when gluing and even potentially after the light glue I would run an iron over an old towel over the the surface of the door to help reactivate the glue that binds the laminate to the particle board.

If the piece is to far gone, then maybe putty to fill and sand it but that will look very noticeable and potentially leave fine scratches near the patch. It would be worth a try and I would go for UNi-PRO 500g Smooth Coat Skim Filler - 500g
