How to hang a frameless oval mirror on a bedroom wall? I'd like the mirror to "float" off the wall.

I'd love to help, but we'll have to start by clarifying a few things.
What is the wall made of? Is it plasterboard over timber framing? Or is it steel framing? Or a different material altogether?
Have you selected a specific location on the wall? If so, do you know if there is framing behind that location?
How heavy is the mirror? Is there any kind of hook or hardware on the back of the mirror?
Until we can get some answers to better specify the install, I'd suggest having a look at How to hang just about anything, which goes into detail on hanging items using different methods for different surfaces and situations.

A 5kg mirror will be hung on a plasterboard wall over timber framing. There are 2 locations that I want to hang it, and I would prefer the first one but if I have no choice, then I'll go with option 2:
The mirror doesnt have any hook nor anything at the back, just a plain backing oblong mirror similar like this but not a LED one
If there is no frame whatsoever, then you would need to go with an adhesive, such as https://www.bunnings.com.au/selleys-310g-liquid-nails-mirror-metal-glass-adhesive_p1231848 or https://www.bunnings.com.au/permastik-32mm-x-5m-mirror-mounting-tape_p3962527 . Just make sure you follow the instructions closely and ensure that enough is used to support the full area of the mirror.
If there is a frame or some timber that can be screwed to, then your options increase significantly. The https://www.bunnings.com.au/hangman-45kg-picture-mirror-picture-hanger_p0390342 is a great option assuming you have the width on the back of the mirror to accommodate it. It comes with walldogs, which can be used to mount directly to the plasterboard without additional anchors.
Alternatively, you can add a https://www.bunnings.com.au/everhang-brass-plated-picture-hanging-frame-claw-4-pack_p3930074 to the back of the mirror, then use a https://www.bunnings.com.au/everhang-10kg-plasterboard-picture-hanging-screws-10-pack_p0086520 into the plasterboard.
