1. Blackbutt parcel letterbox by @Herrenovacation
A Blackbutt timber slab was anchored to a concrete base and fitted with a parcel letterbox. The timber was finished with oil for easier ongoing maintenance, while oversized house numbers completed the practical design.
2. Front yard landscaping with letterbox by @lhlifestyle
A bespoke timber letterbox focal point for a low-maintenance landscaped front yard. It was made using plywood, hardwood posts and decking timber ripped into narrow strips, then protected with exterior paint and marine varnish.
3. Rustic letterbox by @Rolando
Reclaimed railway sleepers give this letterbox plenty of character. Rolando added salvaged railway nails, cotter pins, bolts, nuts and washers as decorations before securing the structure in concrete.
4. Bespoke concrete letterbox for modern home by @HayleyD
Leftover and sample bricks from a new-home build were used to construct a rendered masonry pillar. A recessed street number, concrete-effect finish, lockable metal letterbox and integrated mowing strip make the design stylish and practical.

The bold custom house number is the standout feature of this modern rendered concrete letterbox D.I.Y. built using blockwork structure.
6. Letterbox upgrade by @OG_Bee
A reclaimed 300mm-square timber post was given a new life as a robust letterbox support. The post was set in rapid-set concrete, lightly sanded to preserve its rustic character, coated with exterior decking oil and paired with a contrasting black letterbox and white numbers.
7. Mailbox succulent garden with rusted landscaping rings by @Crown123
A weathered metal finish and a collection of succulents transformed this tired mailbox into a creative garden feature. Concentric landscape rings, polished pebbles and neatly displayed house numbers help connect the letterbox with the character and colour palette of the home.
8. New fence, gate and mail dropbox by @Lorraine28
A large parcel dropbox was incorporated into a new corrugated-iron fence and gate. The resourceful build includes an old barbecue handle and cushions inside the box to soften the landing of delivered parcels.
9. Hardwood sleeper picket fence letterbox by @Kezzie
A hardwood sleeper provides a sturdy foundation for this eye-catching picket-fence-style letterbox. Finished with Merbau stain, the combination of timber textures gives the project a strong street presence while keeping the design simple and achievable.
10. Bin screening and timber mailbox by @cadsman
A clever screening solution using leftover Colorbond sheeting, Merbau decking and timber to protect the mailbox as well as neatly hide the bins to improve the home's street appeal.
