hi all, I have a kinetic brand braided gas hose I purchased to connect to my LPG oven. Do I need to use tef tape on the wall outlet and inlet on the stove itself. I’ve attached some pics

No, you shouldn't use thread tape on the connection between that flexible gas hose and the appliance. These types of hose connections typically seal through the mating faces of the fitting rather than by sealing the threads, so adding thread tape can actually interfere with the connection.
I'm also a little concerned about the gas connection shown coming from the wall. It doesn't look like the typical quick-connect gas outlet or bayonet fitting that you'd normally expect where an appliance is designed to be readily connected and disconnected.
There are a number of requirements around gas appliance connection points and the fittings that can be used, so I wouldn't recommend trying to adapt or alter this connection yourself. From the photo alone, we also can't confirm whether the existing fitting is compliant or exactly what type of connection it is.
I'd recommend having a licensed gasfitter inspect the outlet and the appliance and provide the correct connection for you. Gas installations and alterations are regulated work, and with something as potentially dangerous as a gas leak, this isn't an area where I'd recommend experimenting with fittings or adaptors.

hi all, I’ll get a plumber out but essentially it’s a weekender and the grey cap is just that and perhaps put on their waiting until I put up the internal walls which are now done. The gas connection is just a thread pipe sticking out with a cap on it. Same as they use for water. I just thought I could connect the flexible hose directly from the threaded pipe from the wall to the oven. I didn’t realise it needed a particular bayonet fitting etc.
