I have a vacuum breaker fitted to my outdoor tap, and when I turn the tap on, water comes out through the holes in the vacuum breaker instead of flowing properly through the hose connection.
I tried to remove the vacuum breaker, but it seems to be stuck and I can’t get it off.
Has anyone dealt with this type before? Can the vacuum breaker itself be replaced, and if so, where can I get a compatible one in QLD? Or is it easier/better to replace the entire tap?
I understand vacuum breakers/backflow prevention devices are required for new outdoor hose taps in Queensland, so I don’t want to simply remove it and leave it off.
Any advice on how to remove/replace this particular type would be appreciated!
