Created as a mobile office or business, this retro Viscount caravan also sleeps two and has a full kitchen.
A new floor has been laid, a new kitchen has been purpose built, new blinds and lights fitted, and a unique decor created with white walls, dark wood and wallpaper features.
Hey @Peggers What a great job you've done. Thanks for the photos.🍻
@Peggers Amazing! Do you mind if I ask what the cost is involved creating something like this? Alternatively I presume you sell these, what would one pay for something as extravagantly presented like this?
very cool! 👍
@MitchellM We paid about $1000 for the van, but it needed a lot of work. We spent about $5000 doing it up in the end. Completely gutted the van and started again.
Do you use vinyl wrap like this caravan renovator @Peggers? https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-7989211/Savvy-mum-transformed-old-1987-caravan-praises-3-Kmart-vinyl.html
Hi Rob, I was hoping you could share some advice about changing over lights in an old (circa 1980’s) caravan? I know nothing about wiring or electrical so hoping to update the look of the lights in the van without the need for a tradie.....
Hi @starriebell,
We are looking forward to seeing your renovation project. Let me tag @Peggers so he is alerted to your question about replacing the lights. I know from his How to renovate a caravan series he is not a fan of doing electrical work!
